Services

At Fredonia Place, we work hard to anticipate the needs and desires of our residents, so that we can offer them the services they want and need most often. We know it’s often the simple things that determine whether something is good or great, adequate or exemplary. We offer the following services right on campus:

Dining Services. One of the key concerns when seniors move into assisted living is the food. Not surprisingly, residents want great food! That’s why the dining experience at Fredonia Place is much more like a restaurant than a traditional assisted living center or nursing home. Our dietician and dietary director play an important role in shaping the menus, and we have become known for our superior food and our responsiveness to our residents’ wishes.

Fresh foods, numerous side dishes, and homemade desserts are served daily. Our chefs always make sure to offer lean and healthy alternative meals for residents with strict dietary needs.
Spa: residents can relax in our on-site spa, which includes Jacuzzi tub
Library: comfortable, with shelving designed for easy reach, our library holds approximately 2,000 book titles.
Game Room: enjoy a friendly game of Billiards, choose from one of our many board and card games or play Ping-Pong or Air Hockey with a friend.
Nintendo Wii: now in the movie theater, employees have donated a Nintendo Wii console and games to the residents of Fredonia Place. Games include bowling, golf, baseball, boxing, and tennis. Play with friends or family members!
Movie Theater: where classic films and current favorites are shown and special events, such as the Super Bowl party and weekly movies are regularly held
Computer Access: several computer stations are set up in the movie room to allow resident use and training, as well as videoconferencing with loved ones
Wellness Center: includes workout machines, weights and other exercise equipment. In addition, Fredonia Place residents have access to local swimming programs
Medication Management: residents and/or their families can choose the level of participation in Fredonia Place’s Personalized Medication and Treatment Program. All residents have 24/7 access to our on-staff nurses and a prescription refill service is also available through our pharmacy affiliate
Handicapped accessibility, including wider aisles and doors, handrails, extra lighting and strategically-located benches.
Chauffeured transportation to local appointments and shuttle service for shopping, events, errands etc.
24-hour Emergency Response, including house phones throughout the facility, emergency call bells in each apartment and emergency pendants worn by our residents.
On-site 24/7 maintenance and security, including sign in and sign out, close-circuit TV monitoring and outdoor lighting, sprinkler system, fire doors and a fire alarm system directly connected to the local security company
Chapel: regular services of various denominations are held in our on-site chapel, as are bible study groups and rosary events
Outdoor walking course/gardens: residents stay active as they enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Fredonia Place
Hospitality Suite: Fredonia Place will happily accommodate visiting family and friends for overnight stays in our Hospitality Suite, which features a king-size bed, TV, private bathroom facilities, and breaking
GardenView Dining Room: hosting a family gathering is no problem in our private family dining room that accommodates up to 12 and features a full-service kitchen, FREE. Make your own family favorites or let us cater!
Resident Council: elected resident leaders share residents’ comments and concerns with the staff on a regular basis to ensure issues are addressed promptly
